Looks like EastEnders is not the only place where drama is waiting to happen this Christmas. The BBC One soap star – Dean Gaffney, took to Instagram to share an update on a rather upsetting incident that took during the month to be jolly. Dean shared that his car was broken into. He shared several photos of his Audi with smashed windows. His personal belongings were sprawled across the seats of the car.
Along with the photos, the EastEnders star also shared a rather resigned statement. “I could get angry, but what’s the point,” he wrote. Deciding to take the higher road, he pointed out that instead of being angry, he would just let Karma take its course and deal with the vandaliser. However, the higher road didn’t stop him from stating that London can get a bit of a headache during the festive season. And that’s a trouble he “could do without.”
Can We Expect To See Dean as Robbie on EastEnders Again?
Dean Gaffney is best known for his role as Robbie Jackson on EastEnders. He appeared on the BBC One drama from 1993 to 2003 and 2017 to 2019. Dean had also made brief appearances on the soap in 2004, 2010, and 2015. However, his time in Walford is not his only claim to fame. The actor also competed in the ITV series I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! In fact, he finished the competition in the fifth spot.
After his many exits and returns on EastEnders, Robbie finally left in 2019. On 19 September 2019, Robbie left Walford to look after his son Sami after he was involved in an accident. Back then, it was rumored that the makers of the show chose not to renew his contract. This happened amid another rumor that Dean Gaffney had asked a stranger to send him objectionable photographs. The same year, he also got into two car crashes.
