EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley is bets knows for the portrayal of Karen Taylor on the soap. Lorraine took to her official Instagram account to share the monumental news with her fans and followers.
The EastEnders star announced her engagement by sharing a picture collage capturing some sweet moment between her and her partner. Alongside the heartwarming snapshots, Lorraine also wrote a mesmerizing caption. “Almost 10 years with you, I can now call you my Fiancé!” she announced. Taking her excitement forward Lorraine added that she can’t wait to marry Mark Perez. “I love you and Nancy so much!!!!!” she concluded.
The pictures in Lorraine’s collage included them enjoying the time of their lives in various locations and occasions. Some pictures also included the happy couple’s friends and family. As soon as the EastEnders actress posted the announcement, friends, family and fans rushed in to congratulate the blessed couple. Lorraine’s co-star, Max Bowden, showered them with love and called them the “Best family”. Meanwhile, her former co-star, Danielle Harold, expressed her glee by writing, “Ahhh so excited! love you both.”
The EastEnders star also divulged an insider detail in one of her Instagram stories! Breaking out of set gender roles, Lorraine stated that she was the one who popped the question to her partner! “Yep, I proposed to him on his birthday 25/6/23,” she announced. Furthermore, she gushed that it was one of the most impulsive thing she has ever done in her life. However, the actress admitted that it was just “perfect.”
