EastEnders spoilers confirm that Dean asked Jean to watch over Jade because she’d been messing with her meds. Soon, a journalist approached Dean to talk about his recent fundraiser.
Dean left the women behind as he stepped forward to give the interview. There, Johnny grabbed the chance to get back at Dean. Johnny told the journalist, “You know what they say, there’s always two sides to every story.”
Meanwhile, when they were alone, Jade spilled the beans to Jean, saying that Dean had been in charge of her meds per EastEnders spoilers. Subsequently, Jean smelled a rat and asked Harvey for his thoughts on the matter. Harvey rumbled it was probably just Dean being careless, not intentionally hurting his daughter. However, Jean still didn’t buy it and dug deeper before discovering the shocking truth about Dean.
According to EastEnders spoilers, she learns that Dean was messing up with Jade’s meds, giving her empty capsules on some days. Consequently, Jean freaked out and urged Jade to crash at the Slaters’ but Dean barged in. He observed that Jade’s pillbox had been moved and demanded an explanation right then and there. Jean didn’t hold back and asked Dean, “You’re messing with her antibiotics. Why?”
She added, “I don’t understand. Why would a father hurt his own daughter?” per EastEnders spoilers.
