EastEnders actor Shona McGarty took to her Instagram and shared a hilarious clip of what goes on behind the scenes. We know that the stars are not as serious as they look on the show, and we recently got a sneak peek into it.
In the 13th May episode, Whitney returns to Sonia’s house with a wedding dress. When Bianca Jackson and foster daughter Britney look at her, they insist Whitney try on the dress. And she does exactly that, and bags a number of compliments from both the women.
However, when she learns that the items they tracked down for her wedding to Zack have been stolen, they storm out of the kitchen. In the small video shared by McGarty on Instagram, the actor revealed something funny. When she first shot the scene of her storming off, she accidentally took a vegetable cart with her.
“So, if you watched tonight’s EastEnders episode, directed by Jamie Annet, THIS, is what actually happened! Watch the vegetable trolley. My laugh!” she wrote in the caption and also tagged Patsy Palmer. The clip also reveals when Whitney’s dress got caught, McGarty, and Palmer burst into laughter. EastEnders regular viewers are going to miss these fun times when McGarty leaves the show.

EastEnders spoilers have already revealed that Shona McGarty will soon leave the BBC One soap. During her last stint on the show, pregnant Whitney has been focusing on her troubled teen, Britney. This has led to issues between her and husband-to-be, Zack Hudson.
After learning that Britney had lied to him, he ended up sleeping with her best friend, Lauren. Even though Zack has been guilty since then, he did accept Whitney’s marriage proposal a few weeks ago.
In the upcoming EastEnders episode, viewers will see Whitney going into labor and Britney telling her mother about Zack’s betrayal. While walking down the aisle with her newborn daughter, Whitney will learn about Zack and Lauren sleeping together. It seems like she will believe her daughter, leading to her leaving the Square forever.
The legend confirmed her decision to exit EastEnders last year. While speaking to Inside Soap, she said that she wants to pursue things in her heart, like singing—all the stuff she has dreamt of doing since childhood. She also added that EastEnders has been amazing, but she just wants to do other things. The actress has also already signed her gig and will play Jenny in 2:22: A Ghost Story during its run in Dublin.
