We know that the Mitchells have recently met with the tragic news of their maternal Aunt Sal’s demise. The legend’s funeral is all set to take place in Walford, bringing the whole family from far and wide to pay their respects. But coming together is not all that’s happening. EastEnders spoilers suggest that the inner conflict will take the centre stage in the funeral when Sal’s widowed husband, Harold, makes a rare appearance.
Along with showing up at the funeral to pay his respects, he also has a big news. He informs them about the inheritance money of £100k that Sal left behind for Phil, Grant, and Sam. While everyone would have believed that it would bring some happiness, it looks like all of this will bring in sibling rivalry for the Mitchell family. The spoilers suggest that knowing it could solve her issues, Sam will demand Phil for her share of the money.
Much to Sam’s luck, she learns about Phil’s dirty laundry from Kat’s ex, Alfie Moon. Infuriated and adamant about getting her share, she heads to Peggy’s and blackmails Phil. There, Phil refuses to yield, so Sam chooses another occasion to seek vengeance. She goes to Kat and Phil’s birthday party at the Vic, where Phil caves to Sam’s demands, but she double-crosses him. As Kat and Phil get candid, Sam grabs the mic and drops the bombshell in front of everyone. Phil slept with Emma Harding last year!
