Love Island star Amy Hart just hinted about stepping into the world of EastEnders soon. The reality TV legend is popular among her fans for appearing on Love Island back in 2019. Amy spilled the beans that she’s meeting with EastEnders bigwig Chris Clenshaw later this week. When the soap boss gives you a ring, it could spark some exciting teamwork!
EastEnders: Amy Harts Might Join the World of EE!
Amy Hart shared a post from the official Instagram page of EastEnders. It featured Honey Mitchell and Jay Brown completing the London Marathon for the BBC One soap.
Alongside the post, the reality telly star teased about having a boozy night out with the executive producer on Wednesday. Yep, she was talking about soap boss Chris Clenshaw. Amy wrote, “Just watched the Marathon episode of EastEnders. I laughed, cried, and was amazed by how they did it.”
Moreover, the star let her feelings out early on so that she wouldn’t have to do it later before Chris. Viewers of the beloved soap have seen several actors join in the mix. The soap has had its fair share of famous guest appearances. The stars range from politicians like Boris Johnson to celebs like Amanda Holden and David Walliams. And get this: Amy has always been an EastEnders fan girl, so a cameo appearance might just be in the cards.
Back to the soap, Jay and Honey ran the Marathon to raise money for a brain tumour charity. The duo hit the racetrack to pay homage to Lola Pearce, who died from the same medical condition. Furthermore, the London-based soap has left no stone unturned To make the storyline authentic. If you don’t know already, actors Emma Barton and Jamie Borthwick ran the London Marathon themselves.
During the Marathon, characters like Lauren Branning, Peter Beale, and Callum Highway cheered Jay and Honey on. The characters excitedly exclaimed, “That’s them!” In addition, they were all sporting T-shirts with Lola’s face on them as they chanted, “For Lola! For Lola!” The special episode showcased a unique crossover of the soap and the Marathon, with other runners joining the scene. As they finished the race, Jay and Honey got their medals.
In real life, Jamie celebrated the work of Prostate Cancer UK while Emma raised funds for Children In Need.
