EastEnders narrative took a rather dramatic turn recently when the shocking truth behind Ranveer Gulati’s death finally spilled out. For over a year now, Suki Panesar has been berating herself, thinking she caused his death. However, in reality, her step son Ravi Gulati is the real culprit. In a poignant twist of tale, Denise stumbled upon some damming evidence earlier this week on the BBC One soap. She discovered a CCTV footage that clearly shows that it was Ravi and not Suki who killed Ranveer.
All this while, Ravi Gulati had deviously managed to convince Suki that she was responsible for the act on EastEnders. In the September 14, 2023, episode, he sneaked into Denise’s house and hovered over her as she watched the footage horrified. The episode took an even more frightening turn when Ravi snatched the laptop from her and snapped it into two. Furthermore, pushing Denise against the wall, a she exclaimed that it was Ravi who killed Ranveer. Thankfully, Denise managed to escape him before he could cause her any physical harm.
She ran straight to Ravi’s house to tell the truth to her daughter Chelsea, who has been living with him on EastEnders. To her surprise, even Suki was present at the house and Denise told her what she saw on the CCTV footage. However, Ravi followed in and claimed that Denise is lying just to break him and Chelsea up. He assured Suki that he did not frame her and that Ranveer did die because of Suki hitting him over. Despite his insistence, Denise continued to claim that Ravi killed Ranveer after Suki left.
Later, Suki opened up about the whole situation to Nish, devastated that her son Kheerat took the fall for nothing on EastEnders. Nish advised Suki to not tell Kheerat the truth, as it would be better for him to think that he sacrificed himself for his mother and not for nothing. Despite Nish pushing Suki to drop the matter, she showed up secretly at Denise’s house. She assured Denise that she believes her. The two women then joined forces and decided to bring Ravi down for the crime. But will they be able to ever prove it? Especially with the evidence destroyed?
