The most awaited episodes of EastEnders are finally upon us! Next week, Peter will head over to Walford in an attempt to connect with his newfound sisters, Anna and Gina. Actor Thomas Law told the media, that Peter wants to connect with his family. He wants to nurture and hold on to any familial connections that he can find, Thus, Ian and Cindy will fail in stopping Peter from returning to Walford. Eventually, Cindy will follow in her son’s footsteps and find her way back home too!
Ultimately leaving Ian no choice but to follow suit on EastEnders. However, Ian knows that George is living there with his family. Moreover, it is something he’d rather keep a secret from Cindy. Thus, he will follow her, hoping to keep her away from running into her other family. Unfortunately, during his quest to keep his wife and son away from the Knights, he ends up bumping into some difficult faces from his own past.
When Peter faces Ian at the launderette, he tells him that he understands why Ian has been trying to keep Cindy away from Walford. However, he also makes it clear to his father that he intends to know his sisters. Following that, he leaves to go to The Vic to attend Anna’s birthday bash. Ian once again follows his son. But that’s when things get sinister for the former Walford businessman! He unexpectedly bumps into his murderous ex-wife, Sharon, and nemesis, Phil!
Sharon is shocked to see Ian face-to-face, but Phil is downright livid! As hot-headed as Phil is, he loses no breath in issuing a blood-curdling threat to Ian. He warns Ian to immediately be gone from Walford or suffer the consequences. However, Sharon then musters up the courage to poke the bear and bring up the past with Ian. Viewers will remember that before he ditched the town in 2021, Sharon was slowly poisoning him on EastEnders.
In the long gap that Ian was away, her actions had drifted away from her mind. However, seeing Ian back in Walford have revived her fears.
