EastEnders: Peter’s Returns To Walford Creates Chaos

After learning from Ian that Cindy has two daughters, Anna and Gina, in Walford, Peter returns home in an attempt to connect with his sisters on EastEnders. However, his homecoming isn’t met well with most people. At least, his brother Bobby is happy to see him. He even tells him that he can make peace with Kathy by returning the money he stole. Unfortunately, Peter soon finds out that Bobby harbours romantic feelings for Anna. This makes him extremely uncomfortable since Bobby and Anna both are his siblings. Thus, we can assume that in the upcoming episodes, Peter may try to keep them away from each other.

Although, that part will have to wait, since Peter has just gotten himself embroiled in a difficult situation with his other sister, Gina. In the previous EastEnders episode, during an interaction between the two at The Vic, Gina proceeded to grab Peter’s hand. However, knowing that she is his sister, he immediately pulls back and knocks over a glass. Thus, attracting everyone’s attention towards them. Including, that of Gina’s father, George Knight. As soon as George sees Gina and Peter’s commotion, he completely misreads the situation and rushes in to accuse Peter. George then throws Peter out of The Vic and bars him from entering the property again.

We wonder what new layers of complication this new animosity will add to EastEnders. Especially, now that Ian and Cindy are back in Walford. She has obviously chosen Ian over George and that is certainly going to create some troubles between her and George Knight. Amidst this, a war between him and Peter could get really ugly. However, we can’t help but wonder why Peter didn’t defend himself. Moreover, why didn’t Gina tell her father what actually happened? Are the makers leaving room for Gina feeling guilt over it and reaching out to connect with Peter at a later point? We’ll have to wait and find out!
