EastEnders viewers keeping up with the soap know that situations have turned rather bleak for Lola on the soap opera. She is diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor and is inching closer to her end. Now that the time is just around the corner, it looks like EastEnders have started filming her last scenes. Recently actors Danielle Harold, who plays Lola, and Jay Brown, who plays Jamie Borthwick on the soap, were seen shooting some on-location scenes.
In the upcoming scenes that are all set to air next week, Lola will make some big decisions for her daughter. But thankfully, this isn’t the end. Later on, it is likely that Lola will enjoy her last day out. The on-screen couple was recently spotted on a sea venturing towards some choppy waters. They share some very emotional moments. It is no doubt that these scenes would be very tough to film. The two of them got married in a romantic ceremony earlier this year.
The Photos see the couple looking back as Jay kisses Lola on her head. They continue to make as many memories as they can. Lola’s condition is getting worse on EastEnders every passing day. Now, they have to make the most out of the remaining days. The pictures also see this couple recreating the very famous Titanic scene where they will stand in front of the boat overlooking the ocean with their hands wide open.
When Lola found out that she had very limited time to live, she told her family about it, and this wasn’t the easiest decision. Her family was devastated by the news. Now, Lola’s father, Billy Mitchell, will also return and come to know that nothing can save her. These are some very heartbreaking scenes coming up on EastEnders. Make sure you tune in. EastEnders airs on BBC One and BBC Player at 7:30, Monday to Thursday.
