The tensions around Lily’s pregnancy on EastEnders are nowhere close to coming to an end. Stacey is still struggling with Lily and what they must do next in her pregnancy journey. Just to give the fans a little recap. Lily, Stacey’s 12-year-old daughter, is pregnant with Ricky Jr.’s child and wants to keep the truth about the paternity hidden. This has become a rather difficult task because the police and the child security services are after them, too.
EastEnders: Lily Bursts Out, Makes A Decision
In the recent EastEnders episode, the Child Security Service instructed that Lily couldn’t be alone with a man in the home. Regardless of how Stacey felt about it, she had to implement this in the household. It really is something that Lily does not like and leads to further complications for the whole family. Later on in the episode, a social worker pays the Slater household a visit. They continue to ask about the father while Lily hides in the kitchen. Not being able to take any more, she burst out. She then admits that the father was a boy from the school and not anyone else.
While she had admitted it in the heat of the situation, she wanted to know if the boy would land in trouble if she were to tell them the name. However, the social security just wanted to know the name, and that led to Lily being really upset. Following that, there was an obvious but very important conversation in the soap opera where Martin stated that it was obvious that Lily would get an abortion. However, it doesn’t look like Lily is ready to roll with that idea.
In the same episode, she gets upset when she hears Martin going on about the abortion and how it is the right thing to do. Lily gets upset and tells her adoptive dad that she is old enough to decide that for herself. EastEnders spoilers for the week of January 16, 2023, suggest that Lily will drop a big bombshell in the upcoming days. So, it could be her deciding that she wants to keep the baby. Is that what would happen? We will have to wait to see. EastEnders airs on BBC One, Monday-Thursday. Make sure you tune in and enjoy.
