TV Season & Spoilers has previously reported that Lorraine Stanley is bidding goodbye as Karen Taylor on EastEnders. A source close to the production had shared that her exit decision was a very tough one to take. However, it had to be done to freshen up the cast and the storyline of the long-running BBC One soap. Later, the actress to confirmed through several social media posts that she indeed is exiting the soap. But one thing that still hasn’t surfaced is the final storyline that will lead to Karen’s exit.
Ever since this news came to light, many speculations have been made about what could cause Karen to leave Walford on EastEnders. Earlier, some fans thought that Karen might perish in the fire that was to rip through the square. But that didn’t happen. Eventually, it were Peter and Bobby who got injured in the fire that Rocky started. However, the latest spoilers have dropped some new hints for Karen’s departure. It is no secret that she she deeply detests Sharon. Karen has never been in favor of Keanu and Sharon’s relationship.
Is A Big Reveal About To Send Karen Packing On EastEnders?
In fact, even recently, when Sharon and Keanu got re-engaged on EastEnders, and held a party for it, Sharon invited Karen. However, her future mother-in-law shot down the olive branch and asserted that she would never give her blessings to them. Now, the latest spoilers tease that Mitch Baker is going to host a surprise party for Karen. He will certainly extend an invitation to Sharon to attend the event. This unexpected Collison with Sharon could send Karen off the handle and there could be a showdown between the two ladies.
We wonder if this showdown could cause either of them to accidentally spill the life altering secrets that they are hiding! Karen is still jittery about her unwitting involvement in Albie’s kidnapping, thanks to Keanu. Meanwhile, Sharon is keeping the lid tight on the fact that Keanu is not really Albie’s father. In fact, Phil has been the bio-dad all along. If either of the secrets spill out in heat of the moment, it could spell disaster for all parties involved.
