EE/ Penny Makes The Revelation

Earlier, oblivious Lauren got arrested in charge of drug smuggling while her son and Penny went ahead. Penny arrived in Walford with Louie in the latest episode and shared the news of Lauren’s arrest. Soon enough, Penny was walking on thin ice when Jack, Peter Beale, and Sonia Fowler questioned her. She hoped that Jack would help by using his police contacts. However, Jack revealed he was being barred from the case due to the potential conflict of interest.

In the meantime, Jack assumed that a random passenger had used Lauren as bait. Nevertheless, with Sonia and Peter no longer around to eavesdrop, Jack came clean about his actual thoughts. He told Penny that he could see through her charade. Having done a lot of such airport cases, Jack informed Penny that the culprit being a random stranger is rare. Usually, the culprit is someone who’s known to the victim due to the convenience.
