EastEnders is enjoying an unimaginable high this season on BBC One. The makers have been offering drama, emotion and tragedy episode after episode. Needless to say, the fans are really happy with the way the current storylines are building. 2023 has been a year of comebacks for the long-running soap, which started earlier this year with Cindy’s return. One of the latest, but notorious, return to the fold has been that of Dean Wick.
However, those who tuned into the November 20, 2023, episode of EastEnders were left speechless with the unexpected turn. The detested rapist had a massive showdown with Linda, which lead to another heated confrontation with George. It all started when someone wrote “rapist” on the front of Beale’s Eels. A business that Cindy and Ian have started in partnership with Dean.
As soon as Dean saw it, he flew in a fit of rage. He automatically assumed that Linda Carter must be responsible. The same former sister-in-law, he raped back in 2014. Dean threatened to take Linda to cleaners by suing her for slander. Later, she decided to call a truce with him, after consulting with police officer and friend – Jack Branning. Unfortunately, the peace attempt turned ugly and soon escalated to a point where George had to intervene.
The men then took there argument upstairs at The Vic on EastEnders. There, a livid Dean lashed out and accused Linda for being the one who started an affair with him. Furthermore, he also fired another accusation at her, claiming that she is now having an affair with George! This pushed George to his last limit and he started plummeting Dean down the stair. Ultimately, Dean was seen lying motion-less at the foot of the stairs, as the episode ended on a cliff hanger.
What do you think will happen next? Will Dean get some medical help in time to pull through? Or has he already lost his life to George’s beating?
