EastEnders really caught us off-guard with the gutting crescendo it hit with the Stacey and Theo storyline. In one of the recent episodes, Stacey’s despicable stalker broke into her house and attempted to rape her. However, Freddie reached back home right in time to save Stacey from her attacker. Although Theo and Freddie’s brawl started with a few light punches, it soon escalated to an unbelievable height. In an attempt to defend himself, Theo pinned the entire blame on Stacey, claiming that she tried to seduce him.
When the words fell on Freddie’s ears, all he could see was red on EastEnders. Theo’s blatant lies and shameless accusations reminded him of Graham’s words against his mothers. Triggered, Freddie gabbed a nearby iron and bashed the breath out of Theo. Stopping barely short of killing him on spot. However, the beating was so severe that the offender was left unconscious and fighting for his life. Freddie and Stacey soon realized what a mess they had gotten into. Moreover, they feared that if Theo died, Freddie will have to face drastic legal consequences.
EastEnders: Will Freddie Faces Charges For Beating Up Theo?
In hopes of helping and safe guarding Freddie, Eve and Stacey tried to stage a rather different crime-scene on EastEnders. They planted a wrench near an unconscious Theo, making it look like he was the one who attacked. And whatever Freddie did was in self defense. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, the police arrests Freddie for attempted murder. Although, after an initial round of questioning at the police station,and asking Jean to step in as an appropriate adult, Freddie is granted bail.
But that certainly does not mean that the worst is over and he is in the clear on EastEnders. Freddie still faces a uncertain future as the investigation is still ongoing. After his release the Slater family sends him away from Walford to live with his mother for sometime. Thus, giving actor Bobby Braizer (Freddie) a temporary exit from the soap. Later, in the episode, Jack informs Stacey that Theo has gained consciousness. However, his statements do not match the version given by her and Freddie.
