EastEnders Star Ross Kemp Opens Up About His New Work
The Grant Mitchell actor Ross has found his way to the old stomping ground, the Great British Pub. He has paired up with beer giants like Heineken to help Brits find the perfect pit.
Along with being an actor, Kemp also made a documentary to discover what quality beer and serving should look like through a miniseries. This came out after Heineken rolled out their cutting-edge Smart Dispense system, which chills beer from the keg to the tap.
Furthermore, Ross took this opportunity to describe himself as a ‘regular pub-goer.’ He told The Sun, “Going to a Great British pub for a quality pint is ingrained in British culture.” Furthermore, when he heard there was technology enhancing the experience for consumers and landlords, Kemp got involved.
The beer enthusiast also spoke about how British pubs are so steeped in history that any change is criticised. He also spoke to landlords around the UK to learn everything about how Heineken changed the market.
The EastEnders star said even after playing the landlord of one of TV’s most famous pubs for eight years, getting the perfect pint is ‘the hardest thing to get right. Ross explained the perfect pint. He said, “It takes a clean and correctly branded glass, being served at the right temperature with the right carbonation and a full measure.”
