Suki and Eve’s love story took a devastating turn on EastEnders when Nish and Ravi struck down on Eve. After Nish saw his wife kissing another woman on the CCTV footage, he was livid. He called Eve for a meeting in a deserted place, pretending to be Suki. As expected, their confrontation escalated to a point of violence. Something Nish Panesar is known for on the BBC One soap.
He smashed Eve’s head on EastEnders, rendering her unconscious. He then called upon Ravi to take her into the woods – finish her off and get rid of the body. However, once alone, Eve begged Ravi to let her go. Not wanting to be tied to his father in another crime, Ravi agreed. However, he warned Eve that if she ever returned to Walford, it would cost her Stacey and Suki’s life. The last we saw of Eve was when she packed up and fled Walford for good.
As of now, it appears as though Eve has left the town behind her for good. Especially so, to keep Stacey and Suki safe on EastEnders. However, we are not convinced that this is the end of Eve Unwin. If anything, it could be the proverbial silence before the storm! The storm that will come in form of a murdered male character, this Christmas on the BBC One soap. Another interesting fact that adds to our hope is that neither Heather Peace (Eve), nor the production has said anything about her exiting the drama permanently.
Thus, we can’t help but wonder if a few episodes down the line, Eve realizes that she can’t run away in fear of Nish on EastEnders. Also, the fact that he is an extremely violent and abusive partner, makes him such a huge danger to Suki. Especially in the light of the revelation of their affair. So what if Eve returns home right around Christmas! Suki Panesar is one of The Six who are in the center of the Christmas murder mystery. Meanwhile, Nish has been in the top running to end up dead, since the very beginning of the storyline.
Moreover, if the makers really wanted Eve gone, they could’ve just let her die at Nish’s blow on EastEnders. Or have let Ravi actually finish her off in the woods. So, if they are keeping her alive- it has to has a purpose! And quite honestly, we would love to see her come back and stand in solidarity with Suki against Nish. There is also a possibility that Nish or even Ravi might end up dead in a showdown that happens between one or both men and Eve-Suki.
