Fans tuned into a awfully scary and massive fire through Walford East on BBC One’s EastEnders. As regular viewers already know, Rocky Cotton has been hard pressed for money and decided on setting Kathy’s cafe on fire, hoping to cash in on the insurance money. But, unfortunately, Rocky always makes a mess of things. Whatever his intention maybe, his plans have a way of going royally off-rails. Something similar happened when he decided to choose arson as the solution to his financial issues.
When Bobby saw the fire ripping through the cafe on EastEnders, he rushed in to douse it. Unfortunately, an explosion injured him and knocked him unconscious. As the news of the fire spread, Peter too, broke into the cafe hoping to save his brother’s life. But matters went bad to worse when Peter too, became injured in the fire and landed in the ICU. The young lad has been fighting for his life ever since on a ventilator. As expected, the Beale family is in shambles over the fear of losing Peter.
Ian Delivers Peter’s Health Updates On EastEnders
In the November 15, 2023, episode, Cindy broke down over not being able to see her son on EastEnders. She strived hard to be allowed to see Peter. But neither Ian, nor Kathy thought it was wise idea. Owing to her breakup with Ian the previous evening. Later, Kathy bumped into The Vic and the two women had another face-off. However, Kathy did feel a tinge of pain for Cindy when she realized how badly she was yearning to see her son. After Cindy stormed off from there, Ian arrived with good news!
Much to the Beale’s relief, the doctor’s assured Ian that Peter now has a good chance of actually pulling through on EastEnders. Kathy of course, was ecstatic to hear the health update for her grandson. Just as the mother-son duo moved to leave, George intervened. He tried to push Ian to inform Cindy. However, the latter rejected the idea claiming that they are broken up and he doesn’t care about her anymore. Later, George personally delivered the news to Cindy. The fact that her family is so hell bent on keeping her away from Peter and his updates hit her hard. She finally realized the mistake she made by bashing Bobby earlier.
George then encouraged her to make an attempt to rebuild the bridges she burnt in the aftermath of the cafe fire. But can Cindy really do it? It is not her first nature to make amends.
