EastEnders gave its viewers a shock when they reintroduced Cindy Beale on the long-running soap BBC One soap. In an unexpected and thrilling twist, the mysterious Rose Knight was revealed to be actually Cindy Beale. However, this exclusive intel was only divulged to the audiences and not to the characters of the soap. But now, according to the latest promo, that is about to change! Walford residents are in for a shock of their lives, as they come face-to-face with Cindy!
“You’re Dead!” Kathy exclaims in exasperation, as she sees a very alive Cindy right in front of her on EastEnders. In the upcoming episodes, life will come to a halt as Cindy Beale walks into the square. “I have always wanted to visit,” she claims in the promo clip. Viewers can expect the colour to drain from Kathy’s face as she literally sees a ghost from her past stare into her eyes. As soon as the shock settles, Kathy will embark on a quest to warn all her fellow residents against her freshly resurrected daughter-in-law.
Shock and Dread Takes Over Walford On EastEnders
Thankfully for Kathy, she will not be alone in her propaganda against Cindy on EastEnders. Sharon Mitchell too, will try to give Ian several words of caution against his once-murderous wife. However, Ian will reject Sharon’s warnings and claim that things are different this time. He will insist that whatever happened in the past is in the past and Cindy is a changed woman. Furthermore, the promo shows George Knight fawning over Rose’s photo in longing. Thus, establishing that there is definitely going to be an explosive showdown between George, Rose/Cindy and Ian, once they all come face-to-face, and Cindy’s real identity is revealed.
Interestingly, all this while, Anna had been bending over backwards attempting to find her mum, Rose, on EastEnders. Thus, she will be in for a heartbreaking reality check, when she finds out that her mother is not the woman she has been believing her to be. The promo clip shows Anna roaming the market, giggling alongside her sister, Gina. Not knowing that their world is about to come crashing down as the big secret explodes.
