Earlier in 2023, BBC One’s EastEnders released a Christmas flash forward teaser which teased the murder of male character from the soap. The supposed victim’s dead body was surrounded by six leading ladies of Walford. Stacey, Suki Panesar, Sharon Watts, Linda Carter, Denise Fox and Kathy Beale. Even after months of the teaser being out, the soap and the makers have done well to keep the mystery under wraps. Day by day, the mystery only deepens.
Of course, many clues have been making rounds ever since EastEnders teased the upcoming WHODUNNIT. Previously, a lot of attention was being put on a pair of cufflinks. Apparently, it was the same that the victim will be wearing during the Christmas murder. Interestingly, the cufflinks made rounds person-to-person at Rocky’s stag party. As part of the poker game. However, the original owner of the cufflinks is Nish Panesar. A front runner to be the ultimate victim of the Christmas murder.
Later, the focus shifted to a certain champagne bottle that appears in one of the ladies hands in the flash forward. Recently, on EastEnders, a similar bottle started showing up in many scenes. Including the confrontation scene between Theo and Stacey. Interestingly, even Theo’s name is quite high up on the list of possible victims. Of course, given the fact that he is soon becoming enemy number one for many people in Walford. Thanks to the rather public revelation of him being Stacey’s stalker!
But here is massive twist in the tale! We recently reported the shocking news of actor Brian Conley’s sudden exit plan from EastEnders. As per reports, this development has happened out of nowhere and has the makers in a lurch. News reports allege that Brian wants out of the soap as soon as possible. And at such a short notice, the bosses may have no option but to fit in his death in the already planned stories. Does that mean they will change the narrative to reveal Brian’s character Rocky Cotton as the victim of the Christmas Murder?
