The scenes that have already aired on BBC iPlayer saw The Beale Family get a shock of their lives on EastEnders. As TV Season & Spoilers previously reported, Rocky Cotton has been pushed into a corner by Nish Panesar. After gambling away all his money, Rocky had to accept a loan from Nish, which he is unable to repay. Thus, in an attempt to get his hands on insurance money, Rocky opted to commit arson! Using a faulty fuse box as decoy, Rocky set Kathy’s cafe ablaze in Albert Square.
Following that, he headed off to meet Kathy for a date on EastEnders. However, in a dreadful twist, Bobby Beale arrived at the cafe and saw it getting engulfed in flames. In hopes of extinguishing the fire, he entered the blazing building and tried dousing the flames. Unfortunately, his attempts failed, and an explosion erupted in the building. Bobby fell unconscious and became trapped inside the cafe. As soon as news reached the Kathy, she along with Rocky and Peter Beale reached the scene.
Who Will Make Out Alive On EastEnders?
Upon realising that Bobby is caught inside the flaming cafe, Rocky and Peter rushed inside, hoping to save the young lad on EastEnders. Unfortunately, the fire just kept getting worse and trapped all three of them inside. Eventually, rendering Peter and Rocky unconscious too. Later, Rocky woke up in the Walford General Hospital. Immediately after gaining consciousness, a guilty and concerned Rocky inquired about Peter and Bobby.
Much to his shock, Kathy informed him that both, Bobby and Peter, were in intensive care on EastEnders. Moreover, she delivered the shattering news that the boys might not make it through. “Peter is on a ventilator. We don’t know if they will make it,” Kathy told Rocky. This news will certainly devastate Rocky. Especially, since he was the one who set the fire. Although he had zero intentions of causing any harm to any human, let alone his own family. But does that really matter now? Moreover, how will Kathy react when she learns that Rocky is responsible for landing her grandson’s on death’s door?
