What’s Cooking Between Ian and Sharon On EastEnders?
We know that Ian Baele will soon return home to Walford on EastEnders. However, we also know that the return will not be so easy. There is a lot of unfinished business and difficult conversations waiting for him back home. For starters, Ian bolted town without as much as a goodbye to his mother. Thus, when he returns, he will have a lot to explain to Cathy. Although that will not be the only conversation that needs to take place. In a recent chat with several media, including Digital Spy, actor Adam Woodyatt pointed out that the most “interesting” chat that Ian will have will be with Sharon, as they discuss “the process of making carbonara.”
Long-time viewers would remember that the last time Sharon and Ian were together on EastEnders, she was poisoning his food! Sharon had married Ian with the sole purpose of seeking revenge from him for his involvement in the boat accident that culminated in her son, Denny, losing his life. Furthermore, Adam also opened up about his upcoming scenes with actor Steve McFadden who plays Phil on the soap. He confessed that he and Steve had bumped into each other in London ahead of the shoot and took pictures together. However, both of them refrained from sharing them online since it would have given away their upcoming on-screen reunion!
Apart from actors Michelle Collins and Adam Woodyatt, Thomas Law has also returned to EastEnders. He will reprise the role of Cindy and Ian’s son, Peter. Interestingly, Thomas has previously played the role of Peter Baele from 2006 to 2010. Thus, it will be quite interesting to watch the entire Baele clan reunite is Walford all over again. We wonder what new drama will ensue once the smoke around their return settles! So stay tuned to EastEnders on BBC One to catch up with all the drama and thrill!
