Currently, emotions are running high in Walford on EastEnders. The characters on this BBC One soap often have to navigate through unforeseen relationship troubles. However, this time the drama might end up ripping apart not one, but actually two fan-favourite couples! The recently reunited Stacey Slater and Martin Fowler have taken a massive hit due to a threat that is lurking around. Meanwhile, soon-to-be married, Sharon and Keanu, are experiencing trouble due to an internal betrayal. Will either of these couple manage to save their relationship, or is it really the end for them all? Find out below!
Stacey and Martin Call It Quits
Formerly married Stacey and Martin had once again started to develop feelings for each other on EastEnders. So much so, that they finally made the decision to reunite and begin dating again. However, Stacey’s online webcam work soon became a sore sight for Martin. He addressed the issue with Stacey and she managed to convince him that her chats with her clients is rather innocuous in nature. After the explanation, the two of them moved past the hurdle and cracked a joke about her client being a “sad old man.” Unknown to them, Theo was lurking around.
Previously, EastEnders revealed Theo to actually be Edmund, Stacey’s mystery client. Thus, when in a following conversation, Stacey and Martin equated Theo to the sad client who enjoys the Slater’s company, he was livid. Consequently, he sent Stacey a lewd gift and some equally lewd messages, that startled her. Later, Martin stumbled upon some explicit messages from Edmund on Stacey’s computer and flew of the handle. He accused Stacey of lying and misleading him about the nature of her cam work. Then insisting that they should perhaps not move forward in their relationship.
Sadly, Stacey too agreed that they aren’t working. However, she pointed that the problem with them was that he didn’t trust her. The two then agreed to call off their relationship. But is this really the end? Or could something in the future manage to change their decision? Stay tuned to find out!
Keanu and Sharon Call Of Their Wedding On EastEnders
Sharon really was playing with fire when she decided to go behind Keanu’s back and help Lisa take away Peggy on EastEnders. Keanu was trying with all his might to keep Peggy in his life and in Walford. He even spoke with lawyers, and wanted to do the right thing by his daughter. However, Sharon felt that it was better for Peggy to return to Portugal to her mother with Lisa. Thus, she informed Lisa about Keanu’s legal plannings, and gave her a head start on getting away with Peggy.
Initially, Keanu though it was Martin who snitched on him on EastEnders. However, when he found out that it was actually Sharon who ratted to Lisa, he flipped. Keanu felt betrayed and lashed out at his partner. Sharon tried to explain her side of the story and that she did it for Peggy’s best interest, Keanu couldn’t look past the betrayal and hurt. He then proceeded to break Sharon’s heart by letting her know that he couldn’t marry her. Although Sharon couldn’t accept the devastating news at first, but she later agreed that it was the right choice. Hence, agreeing to remain co-parents to Albie, but calling off their wedding.
However, this goes on to add another layer of mystery to the EastEnders flash-forward scene. Sharon was seen wearing a wedding gown in it. So what does this really mean?
