We have said it before, and we will say it again. Rocky on EastEnders is the poster boy for not learning from their mistakes. He keeps digging himself deeper and deeper in trouble. And most of those troubles stem from one seed alone, i.e. gambling! Recently, he needed money for making the down payment for the new house with Kathy. However, he could not tell her that he blew off all the money on placing bets. Thus, to cover his tracks, he accepted a loan from Nish. Nish Panesar of all people in all of Walford!
The mere mention of that name spells trouble on EastEnders. So why would one want to land directly under the devil’s thumb by taking a loan from him. But then, like the saying goes, desperate times call for desperate measures, and that’s exactly what Rocky did! But the thing is, his mistake is now ringing in his ears. Actor Brian Conley admitted in a recent chat with the media that Rocky knows what a mistake he has made. But now he is hoping that Nish will cut him some slack. Mostly because it is Christmas time.
“Maybe he’ll see the light and feel sorry for Rocky,” Brian points. Unfortunately, that’s just wishful thinking, because that’s not how Nish Panesar functions on EastEnders. Rocky tries to charm Nish and get his way, but its backfires spectacularly! Nish sees right through Rocky. Moreover, he issues him a menacing threat with dire consequences should the latter default in his loan repayment. “Rocky is between a rock and a hard place,” Brian sighs. Nish is in no mood to reconsider the repayment terms. “He treats Rocky with utter contempt.”
Brian admits that Rocky is in deep trouble with Nish. Especially since the latter knows that Rocky has a gambling problem. And everyone knows that there is only one person who wins at the bookies, the bookies! Now, Nish has Rocky right where he needs him to be. ” The house of cards is about to come collapsing down on Rocky,” Brian concludes. Interestingly, the spoilers tease that there is going to be a fire at Kathy’s cafe. We wonder if Nish will ultimately have something to do with it. Could he cause it as form of revenge if Rocky defaults? Meanwhile, there is also a possibility that Rocky starts it, hoping to get his hands on the insurance money!
We legit cannot wait to see which side the camel settles down ultimately. What do you think will happen. Tell us in the comments. Meanwhile, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for more EastEnders updates on Nish and Rocky’s story.
