In the upcoming episodes, EastEnders is all set to revisit an evil ghost from its past. Eighteen years ago, Walford shook with terror over the vicious attack on Little Mo Slater. Long-time viewers might remember the wicked Graham Foster and what he did to Mo. However, for the unversed, Graham befriended Mo during the time she worked at the Queen Vic. Eventually, the man gained her trust over his very frequent visits to the bar. Although at one such visit, which happened to be in the after-hours, Mo became fearful of his intentions.
Unfortunately, Mo’s fears were proven correct when Graham inhumanly raped her in a heart-wrenching episode of EastEnders. Later, she found out that she had become pregnant as a result of the wretched act. However, instead of feeling ashamed of her pregnancy, Mo bravely decided to keep the baby, and thus, Freddie was born. Cut to the present, Freddy had made himself quite comfortable in the life he was leading with his extended family in Walford. Which was until he found out that Billy is not his biological dad.
Freddie Faces His Father’s Reality On EastEnders
EastEnders spoilers confirm that in the upcoming episodes, Freddie will finally come face-to-face with the real truth. During his quest to uncover the identity of his bio-dad, he will bump into someone who will reveal the real truth to him. Ultimately bringing actor Alex McSweeney back to the canvas as Graham Foster. While speaking to the media, Alex confirmed that he indeed is returning to the BBC One soap. The actor expressed his gratitude to the makers for bringing him back in the loop.
He believes that it is exceptionally important for Freddie Slater to find answers about his father. Alex added that it was great to be back and that he “thoroughly enjoyed working with the talented Bobby Brazier on these scenes.” EastEnders Executive Producer, Chris Clenshaw, pointed out that although Alex had not been a part of the soap for a while, he still has been heavily linked to it. Like Alex, Chris, too, believes that Freddie needs to know about the circumstances of his conception and the truth about his dad.
