EastEnders: A BIG EXIT Coming Up Next Week

EastEnders is all over the entertainment news following the major comebacks of the iconic soap stars, Adam Woodyatt and Michelle Collins as Ian and Cindy Baele. However, the big returns is being followed up by the exit of a major character from the BBC soap. After an year-long run, actor Ashley Byam is exiting EastEnders as Finlay Baker. In fact, those who tuned into the Wednesday, June 28, 2023, episode, have already seen the last of him in Walford.

Recently, on EastEnders, Finlay was horrified when he discovered that the brakes on his sports car had been tampered. Upon further investigation, he found Vinny’s necklace under the car, and deduced that he was the one responsible. Finlay assumed that Vinny was targetting him for some reason. However, in reality, Vinny was trying to kill Eve as revenge for trying to pursue a relationship with his mother.

Fortunately, Suki had put two and two together and stopped Eve from driving away in the car on EastEnders. While she did manage to avert that calamity, the brake tampering lead to another new problem. Finlay started to sniff around to figure out Vinny’s agenda. Eventually, he managed to uncover the real reason why Vinny wanted Eve dead. He then proceeded to blackmail Suki, into giving him money or he would expose the entire plot! Including reporting Vinny to the cops, and telling everything to Eve.

Suki tried her best. to contain Finlay’s attempts on EastEnders. She even went to the extent of having Ravi Gulati issue Finlay a series of threats. But nothing floated. In the Wednesday episode, Suki finally caved to Finlay’s demands and coughed up the money he asked for. Finlay then proceeded to drive away leaving Walford only in his rear-view mirror! But is this really the last we have seen of him? We wonder if he would come back at a later point to expose Vinny’s actions. Well, we guess we will have to wait to find out! So, stay tuned to BBC One to find out what happens next on EastEnders.
