Duggar News: Inmates In Josh Duggar’s Prison Go On A Hunger Strike!
As mentioned before, Josh Duggar has been serving his extended 12.5 year prison sentence from FCI Seagoville. However, things took a turn in the facility. As per the reports, some dorms from the prison found it fitting to start a hunger strike. It happened after the facility decided to ban recreational time for the inmates because of some rule breaks.
This includes having contraband products. Hence, the prisoners decided to rebel against this by going on a hunger strike. Its still unclear if Josh Duggar is also part of this rebellion or not. Well, it’s been over a week since the strike began and there has been no developments yet. But it looks like the prison is doubling down by enforcing more bans on the inmates.
Duggar News: Josh Duggar’s Prison Forcing Inmates To Be Inside! Banning More Activities
As mentioned above, Josh Duggar’s prison had banned recreational time. So, the inmates rebelled against this by going on a hunger strike. As per TheSun, a representative from FCI Seagoville responded to the reports. They said there had been “no lockdowns.” In fact, they had only modified operations because of some “facility upgrades” and utility system repairs.

However, a source close to an inmate currently inside FCI Seagoville had a contrasting statement to give. Apparently, the entire facility went into a “lockdown” last week. Due to this, inmates couldn’t leave their dorms, had their classes canceled, received no mail. The recreational time also got limited to just one hour. It was done as a part of the contraband punishment.
Apparently, the punishment only lasted for a few days, but the inmates got upset. Their anger stems from being treated like they are in a “medium-security prison” when they are, in fact, in a “low-security facility.” The officials did so to punish the whole yard because of the illegal contraband.
The source said that the prison was “shaking down all the dorms,” and no one could go outside, which wasn’t good. So far, viewers don’t know if Josh Duggar is a part of the protest or not. Keep an eye on TV Season & Spoilers for more Duggar News updates.
