Many fans had suspected Jill Duggar was not on good terms with her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. That’s because she decided to speak up against her family and it may have ruined their bond. Jill Duggar, now Dillard, has once again become part of the Duggar News. It all began when she decided to become part of Shiny Happy People, a documentary exposing her family. She was one of the siblings her own brother Josh Duggar had assaulted, and she spoke up about that, too. So, there was speculation that the rest of the family members, especially parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, didn’t get along with her.
But Jill ended up proving everyone wrong. As per tvshowace, her parents were very much a part of a crucial day. Unfortunately, she and her husband Derick had announced the passing of their daughter Isla Marie Dillard. It was a stillbirth, and she was due in August. Hence, many family members decided to show up for the Dillards when they hosted their little girl’s funeral. In one of the shots, Duggar News followers managed to spot Jim Bob and his wife, Michelle.
At first, the audience believed they might not show up for their daughter. But that doesn’t seem to be the case. In fact, viewers were glad that the Duggar parents decided to show their compassion and joined Jill on this difficult day. The rest of the family members also decided to release some pink balloons in the air to honor the departed soul at the funeral service.

Alas, Jill and Derick shared that they ended up losing their daughter Isla. It was a stillbirth, and they were expecting to bring her into the world in August 2024. With a heavy heart, the parents said that the baby’s three elder brothers were also excited to meet her, but that didn’t happen. But they made sure to let everyone know that they would always love the departed soul.
Derick and Jill also included a picture of themselves sitting with eachother and embracing their little one who couldn’t make it.
