Viewers of Doubling Down With The Derricos are happy seeing the loving family back in the new season. However, the recent episode is going to be rather scary than wholesome. A recent teaser of the upcoming episode has everyone on the edge of their seats. According to People, the teaser showed The Derriocs family experiencing a sudden encounter with the smoke detector. Karen and Deon acted quickly to evacuate the entire family as they saw a smoke-filled kitchen. One of their 14 kids appeared on the screen and shouted, “Smoke,” and everyone started running outside. However, no one knew at that time what led to this hazard.
Later, Deon ran back into the home when the couple realized some kids didn’t make it outside. He also told Karen to dial 911 and asked her to get back there for them. Karen started calling 911 as Deon entered the home to find the other children. Later, the firefighters arrived at the house. The clip ended when Deon entered the home to see the rest of the siblings. However, it was revealed later that Karen forgot to turn off the oven while cooking Lasagna. The parents later loaded the kids to the fire station to teach them fire drills. They learned about fire safety to know what the Doubling Down With The Derricos family should do next time.

Deon and Karen are currently living with their 14 kids in a small home. Recently, they argued over the same, and Karen pleaded with her husband to get a bigger house. They discussed how their house looked like a zoo, and their kids had to fight to take turns in the bathroom. Shockingly, Deon yelled at his wife and claimed he was done with this before walking away.
