Dota Dragon’s Blood Season 2 is finally about to arrive on our screens sometime soon. The makers took fans of the popular video game Dota 2 by surprise when they decided to turn it into a Netflix series. The show’s story revolves around the fight between the dark Dark Moon Order of Nightsilver Woods and the elves of Coedwig. There is also a demon, Terrorblade, who wants to create a new world of his own aside from this central conflict.

Well, chances for the renewal of the anime’s sequel are pretty high. Netflix has named the first eight episodes as ‘Book 1’. This means that more episodes are set to be released soon as books. Netflix had also teased earlier that more episodes for the show are under production.
Earlier this year, the animator editor of Dragon’s Blood confirmed to Yahoo! News that he personally worked to build a total of 24 episodes. Only eight of these 24 episodes have been released, so it looks like the rest are just waiting for their turn. As of now, the fans eagerly await a new trailer or a teaser.
What Will Be The Plot Of Season 2?
The first season of the hit Netflix show ended on a major cliffhanger. The season finale established two different arcs. First, we saw Luna ask Princess Mirana to travel back with the Dark Moon to the Nightsilver Woods. But here, Selene finds out that the just demon made a contract with her lover, Invoker. In the deal, he promised to give the demon Selemene’s soul. As a return prize, Terrorblade will get seven souls of his own.
In the series’s ultimate moments, we saw Invoker asking his love interest, Selemene, “Do you love me?” This was a tricky question both for Selene and the fans. The following season will kick off this exact conflict between Selene and the Invoker. What will be the fate of Terrorblade? Will the elves finally reach their goal? All this will unfold in the next season.
Dota Dragon’s Blood Season 2: Release Date
The announcement of the Dota anime came out as a huge surprise to both anime and gaming fans. We still don’t know when did Studio Mir and Kaiju Boulevard started working on the series. As of now, the show producers have not revealed an official release date for the sequel yet. But assuming that Dota Dragon’s Blood might get renewed for a second season soon, fans might get to see the following “Book” in 2022.
