Darian’s life took an unexpected turn in the new episode after she heard back from her dream University. The Doubling Down With The Derricos star wanted to pursue a music program at New York University. Unfortunately, Darian couldn’t make it to the college and faced a rejection.
In a recent clip, Darian was waiting anxiously for her admission results and started thinking about the worst-case scenarios. Fortunately, Karen and Deon stood with their daughter and encouraged her with their kind words. But Darian decided to go for some other options in case she didn’t get accepted at the University.
She said, “So I don’t want you to get your hopes up, but I’m also looking at some other colleges just in case, you know, like backup.” Karen and Deon were happy that their daughter was looking for some other opportunities. Darian went to another institute with her parent and had a good time. Later, she finally heard back from NYU and found out that she couldn’t get in.
The young TLC star was deeply disappointed with the results and felt very bad. However, Karen, Deon, and GG quickly rushed to comfort their teenager. Karen said, “I am so proud of you for going on this journey. You worked your butt off and I just love you for that.” Moreover, she told her daughter to get upstairs and get some rest. Further, Darian admitted that the rejection made her reconsider her choices.
