Days of Our Lives is battling some really dark times. The characters and viewers have suffered three consecutive character deaths on the soap. Our tears have not even dried from the recent death of Marlena Evans, and a rather daunting question is already hanging over our heads. Where is Marlena’s afterlife actually taking place? Is it Heaven, or the devil be damned, is Marlena in Hell? Well, that’s an answer that even Marlena, Kate, and Kayla don’t know yet! But let’s try to decipher and find out what actually is going on!
Life Goes Beyond Death For Marlena, But Where?
When a character dies on a soap, it’s usually the end of the road for them. However, Days of Our Lives is no ordinary soap! In this one-of-a-kind sudser, life often goes on beyond death, and then the dead also come back to life! So, this is not Marlena’s first tryst with being dead; she has returned to the flesh before too. Days of Our Lives spoilers have teased that this time too, death is not permanent for Marlena. In fact, Kate and Kayla will return to the land of living alongside her.
When and how that happens, is a story for a different article! At the moment, the question is, where exactly are the ladies currently on Days of Our Lives? We saw Marlena basking in the white light all by her lonesome until her old buddy Susan joined her. However, the sneaky yellow eyes that Marlena missed and we saw, make us wonder if Susan is actually NOT Susan, but *shudder* THE DEVIL. “Susan” took Marlena for a tour around what Dr. Dead is thinking to be Heaven at this point. But if the Devil is there, could it really be heaven?
A Deal With The Devil In Hell On Days Of Our Lives
The fact that Susan’s eyes glowed a tell-tale yellow, we are pretty sure it’s really not Susan, but the Devil on Days of Our Lives. However, that also sets in place a rather disturbing thought. There is no way the Devil would be waltzing so freely in Heaven. Marlena has definitely been sucked into hell. Days of Our Lives spoilers have teased that post Marlena’s death; all three ladies will reunite in the afterlife and manage to find a way back home. So, does that mean Kate and Kayla, too, are in Hell? Possibly, yes! But they’ve been warm and loving women, then how come their trip to Heaven got cut short? The Devil hijacked the transport, perhaps?
What could the Devil’s agenda be on Days of Our Lives? Maybe he wants a revisitation of Salem. His previous visit was interrupted when Salemites managed to banish him. Thus, he is trying to create a safe passage back to Salem with Marlena, Kate, and Kayla! We can expect to see the women make some sort of a deal with the Devil in exchange for getting more years on planet earth! Or maybe, the Devil will trick the women in Susan’s garb and lead them to perform some crazy ritual that would take them all back to Salem? The possibilities are endless!
