Though a short-lived character on Days Of Our Lives, Nicholas Alamain gained attention as he spread charm across the screen on the soap opera. Days Of Our Lives: Cody Longo As Nicholas Alamain
Nicholas’ character started in 1992 on DOOL, and it was portrayed by various actors until Cody Longo took over. Cody Longo made his debut on Days Of Our Lives in 2011 as Nicholas Alamain replacing Jackson Davis. Nikki (Nicholas) came to Salem with his adoptive mother, Vivian Alamain, and later got to know that Carly Manning was his real mother. Nikki wasn’t okay with Carly being in a relationship with Bo and hence, tried breaking them up.
When Cody entered the frame in 2011, Carly was in rehab. Later, in September, Nikki left for Europe along with Carly. Melanie, too joined them a year later. Consequently, Cody’s portrayal as Nicholas ended on Days Of Our Lives. After exiting from DOOL, Longo acted in several projects, including, The Silent Thief and a few other projects, until he left for Nashville to work on his music career. Since 2014, many songs have been released, including Falling Into You, What Up Tho, and more. He acted in ABC Shows such as ‘The Catch’ and ‘Secrets and Lies.’
Devastating News Flashing The Screens!
While we were hoping to see more of Cody on Days of Our Lives, it looks like we will never get to. Bearing some very sad news, Cody has passed away. According to TMZ reports, Cody passed away at Austin, in his residence, lying in bed by the time police entered. Cody’s family members mentioned that he struggled with alcohol abuse for years and has been to a rehabilitation center during the summer. His wife, Stephanie, was at work and felt uneasy when Cody didn’t answer calls.
When Stephanie couldn’t reach Cody, she got suspicious and called the police to check on him. When the cops knocked the door, Cody didn’t answer and hence, they kicked it down. Alas! Cody was found already dead in bed. Cody Longo was staying in Austin, Texas along with wife and three kids. On May 11th, Cody released his single ‘Loud,’ which hit 60,000 streams on Spotify, and that happened to be his last project before passing away. There is no official autopsy report yet, but news reveals that the actor might have relapsed from an alcohol overdose.
