Apparently, Paulina did hire Leo as her assistant, but when Chanel gets arrested and things will become chaotic, Leo might again become unemployed. Paulina already has an assistant in Miami, so she certainly won’t feel the need to keep Leo. Above that, Sloan will also take his first paycheck. So, Leo will rant about his financial problems to Sonny. Chances are there that Leo might have some suggestions for Leo. That might either be to find a position at titan or to help him on something else.
Whatever the case, Sonny is certainly going to pity Leo and the situation he is in. This might be the base for both of them to come closer to each other. One might think that after such an ugly face-off in the past, how could one even think of talking to the other? Well, this is a soap, and in that, characters tend to forgive quite easily compared to that real life. So, it looks like the storyline might soon show Leo and Sonny even more, closer to each other.
