Porte Likes To Be A Park Ranger!
During the ‘Tuesday Fast Five With Peter Porte’ with Soap Opera Digest, Peter Porte revealed his liking for this profession. Days of Our Lives star was asked what would be his choice if he had to start a new career tomorrow, and he revealed it. Peter said that he would like to be a PARK RANGER! The actor mentioned visiting New York and seeing Central Park Rangers. Porte added that he has visited most of the national parks in the U.S. and loves the uniforms and hats those rangers wear. “I would love to wear those hats every day,” said Peter Porte.
We guess if, by chance, Days of Our Lives write off Peter’s character, he would immediately turn towards Park Ranger. Of course, we don’t want him to leave. However, SOD asked the actor a few more interesting questions, to which he gave exciting answers. He mentioned that he loves to host game nights and love string cheese. Peter Porte revealed that he ordered party poppers and glow sticks for his friend’s 40th birthday. Also, do you know he has ASMR? Peter Porte always saw himself as an actor. He debuted in the third grade when he appeared in the Christopher Columbus pageant. Porte grabbed his first daytime opportunity after modeling and giving a few auditions. He acted as Ricky Williams on The Young And The Restless in 2011. He didn’t look back since then and started his career as a professional daytime actor. Porte got the chance in Days of Our Lives to play Kyle Graham temporarily in 2021. But to everyone’s awe, he reprised the role of Dimitri in 2023 and is still playing the role.
Coming to his role on Days of Our Lives, Dimitri Von Leuschner is the only son of the evil lady Megan Hathaway. According to the storyline, Megan asks Dimitri to marry Gwen, so they don’t have to share their fortune with their relatives. She asked him to influence Gwen with his love and manage to stay in the marriage for at least a year. But during that process, Dimitri falls in love with Gwen and wants to marry her for real. Hence, he went down on one knee and proposed to her! But as Dimitri is not straight, it might create issues in his relationship with Leo.
