Days of Our Lives: Lindsay Arnold REVEALS The REAL REASON For Her Exit From Soap Opera

Allie and Chanel were so in love, but love is tricky business on Days of Our Lives. One moment of closeness between Chanel and Johnny blew apart Chanel and Allie. The heartbreak led to a rebound hookup between Allie and Alex, and then Chanel moved out. Now, it seems Allie has made up her mind to leave behind all the drama and start a new life in a new land; oops, we meant New Zealand. The couple came crashing down so fast and without a build-up that it felt like a last-minute decision by the makers to end the storyline.

However, the Days of Our Lives actress, Lindsay Arnold (Allie), clarifies to Soap Opera Digest that it’s not the case. She insists that it may have looked like a sudden shift on the screen, but it was a natural progression behind the scenes. Lindsay shares that she had been thinking about ending the stint for almost a year now. The beautiful actress chimes that she had given it a lot of thought and moving away from Days of Our Lives was not a last-minute decision. She feels like it is time for her to take a break for a while and explore some newer avenues.
