However, as much of a wild card Leo might be, he is far less dangerous and toxic than “certain DiMeras.” Unfortunately, his bestie, Gwen, is currently getting reeled in a web of trademark DiMera deceit! While Gwen is blinded by the glamour of “Prince Charming”, Leo can see right through the charade. But can he save Gwen from this absolute disaster?
Leo Becomes Certain Of Dimitri and Megan’s Foul Intentions For Gwen
Ever since Dimitri crossed path with Gwen on Days of Our Lives, Leo has been wary of him. Meanwhile, Gwen became enchanted by Dimitri’s European charm from the word go! Now, Leo might be scheming, manipulative, and a downright opportunist to the very fabric of his soul. But he surely does love his best friend, Gwen, with all his heart. Like a true friend, he has been trying to dissuade Gwen from walking the path that leads her to the checks of the DiMera chess board. Ever since Dimitri started trying to woo Gwen, Leo felt convinced that he is trying to make her a pawn in some warped game!
Unfortunately, despite his every attempt, Gwen continued to get more and more smitten with Megan’s spawn. So much so that she seriously started to consider Dimitri’s marriage proposal. In fact, the latest spoilers tease that much to Leo’s exasperation, Gwen will accept Dimitri’s ring in the upcoming episodes. Leo felt like he was already racing against time, but now, he will literally be racing against a ticking bomb. And if he wants to save his bestie from a sure-shot disaster, he better act fast! But what can he really do to stop Gwen from saying “I DO” to Dimitri?
Leo Races To Save Gwen On Days of Our Lives
The fact that Gwen is all set to accept Dimitri’s ring is proof that she is past being convinced or warned against him on Days of Our Life. Now, if Leo really does want to save Gwen from becoming a stepping stone, he will have to get more creative and proactive in his approach. Recently, he snooped around the Dimera Mansion and followed Megan down to the secret room, where he discovered captives EJ and Kristen. This further ascertained his doubts that Megan and Dimitri are indeed planning something major, and Gwen is going to become collateral damage.
However, thanks to Harris’ rogue bullet, Megan will soon temporarily retire from the game. Thus, leaving Dimitri unsupported and sans allies on Days of Our Lives. So if Leo wants to strike, there is no better time than now! Besides, he just won EJ and Kristen’s favor by rescuing him from Dimitri’s mother dragon! So Leo’s best bet right now is to join forces with EJ and Kristen to take down Dimitri. But will it really be that easy? Especially since nobody knows what Dimitri’s real game plan is!
