If there is one thing Days of Our Lives fans love more than it’s sci-fi drama, it is a good mystery! And if the said mystery involves an easy on the eyes gentleman oozing charm, literal gold! Thus, taking a break from the usual mayhem of Salem, a fresh conundrum will take over the screen starting this September! The latest spoilers tease that Jada will get some updates that there is an unidentified man roaming the town who may be in need of assistance. Upon realizing that the man is perhaps amnesiac or suffering from some similar condition, the good cop will bring him to the hospital! But who really is this man, and what’s his agenda? He Has Forgotten His Name, But Not His Game!
In the September 1, 2023, episode of Days of Our Lives, Jada will have a man admitted at the hospital. Later, she will seek Kayla and Marlena’s help at the medical facility to check on him and figure out what’s the matter. Apparently, the enigmatic man will have no recollection what so ever about his identity or why and how he has landed in Salem. We already know that the legendary Dick Van Dyke is set to make his DOOL debut on the same day. Thus, it is almost certain that he will be the mysterious patient!
Upon Jada’s behest, Kayla will quickly administer a physical exam on her new patient on Days of Our Lives. However, she will soon realize that she would definitely be needing Marlena’s expertise in this case. Especially since he will be experiencing memory related problems. Although, going by Dick Van Dyke’s scenes in the latest DOOL preview video, it is safe to say that his character only has trouble recalling his identity. His charm, he hasn’t forgotten! He literally takes over every frame that he is in. Honestly, Charisma could be his middle name!
Days of Our Lives: The Race To Piece The Puzzle Begins!
Once Kayla and Marlena deduce that Dick’s character actually can’t recall anything about his past, they will decide to get some extra help on Days of Our Lives. They will entrust John and Steve with the task of finding clues that could either give them an idea of the patient’s life, or help jog his memory. Considering that John has experienced a similar fate earlier, he might also be in a position to be empathetic towards our mystery man.
However, something tells us that this high spirited man may not really be in need of empathizing. The teasers show him having a gala time at the hospital. His cute flirty moments with Kayla and an upcoming scene where he interacts with Julie Williams will be a sure-shot treat to watch! Although, coming to the mystery part, we wonder what that could be!
