Li Shin may have been the one who orchestrated the entire brainwashing drama on Days of Our Lives, but Dr. Wilhelm Rolf was the brain behind washing Gabi’s love out of Stefan’s mind. For a few seconds there, Li did a victory dance in his head as he married Gabi on the soap. However, his gala was rather short-lived. The wedding triggered Gabi’s memory, and she recalled what had gone down in Dr. Rolf’s lab in Days of Our Lives. She wasted no time in letting Stefan know about being brainwashed. While Stefan believes her and knows he is brainwashed, he still can’t remember his love for Gabi.
They need to get the brainwashing reversed to fix Stefan’s memory on Days of Our Lives. As of now, there is only one man who can do it, and that is Dr. Rolf. Once Gabi realizes that Li is in the know of Dr. Rolf’s whereabouts on Days of Our Lives, she will hatch a plan to manipulate him. Despite his questionable choices, Li is madly in love with Gabi. He still believes that there is hope for them to make their marriage work. The latest Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Gabi will exploit Li’s feelings to get to Dr. Rolf. Perhaps Gabi will sweet-talk Li into believing that she in back on board with him. She will use the power of seduction to convince him that she wants to make their marriage work, as her love with Stefan seems lost for good.
While Li might be a little suspicious at first, Gabi will convince him on Days of Our Lives. She will then manipulate him to trace and bring Dr. Rolf back to Salem. She may propose that they need to fix Stefan’s memory so he can have a normal life with Chloe. Li might agree, thinking that if Stefan stays with Chloe, he won’t interfere in his life with Gabi.
Other spoilers suggest that Stefan might feel a little uncomfortable about letting Rolf play games with his brain. Thus, he might back out of getting his brainwashing reversed.
