TV Season & Spoilers recently reported that Camilla Banus is exiting Days of Our Lives. The Daytime Emmy Award nominee has won hearts year after year as Gabi Hernandez on the legacy soap. Thus, we can say this without a shred of doubt that her absence will be sorely felt once she bids goodbye. This brings us to one looming question! How exactly will Gabi exit the canvas? Gabi and Stefan’s Upcoming Marriage Lures A Jilted Ex Back To Salem
After a steep and uphill battle, Stefan and Gabi have finally reunited on Days of Our Lives. Moreover, Li has also backed out as a hurdle. Thus, making their patch to each other obstacle free. In the recent episodes, Stefan went down on a knee and offered Gabi an engagement ring topped with his heart. As expected, she accepted his marriage proposal with her heart full of love and eyes brimming with tears. The picture-perfect couple is now celebrating their engagement and trying to decide on a wedding date!
However, this is the Days of Our Lives we are talking about! Nothing is ever as smooth as one hopes it to be! Especially not weddings! Thus, we won’t be surprised if someone from the past storms in at the eleventh hour to disrupt the upcoming nuptials. And considering that Camila is reaching the end of her run as Gabi, this storm could sweep her off to her exit! But who could this blast from the past be? Well, Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that actor Blake Berris was spotted on the sets while Camila was filming her final episodes! So could Nick Fallon rise back from the dead to snatch Gabi away?
Nick Kidnaps Gabi On Days of Our Lives
Back in the day, Blake Berris played Nick Fallon on the Peacock soap. He was obsessed with Gabi, and they briefly dated on Days of Our Lives. Owing to his abusive tendencies, Gabi broke free of him, and tired and exhausted, she shot him. Blake exited the soap after Nick died on DOOL in 2014. However, he has returned twice since for guest appearances. In 2021, he returned to possess Marlena during the devil storyline. Then earlier in 2023, he returned to the Devil’s Lackey in purgatory.
But what if he returns to the soap in a more fleshy form this time? After all, Days of Our Lives has already established that death can be a temporary state of being! He may return as an obsessive and jilted ex after hearing about Gani and Stefan’s engagement. Nick may kidnap Gabi and sweep her away to lands unknown right before the wedding. He may even make Gabi’s absence look like death. This would serve two very important purposes!
