Emmerdale has confirmed that two legendary ice dancers, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, will join the Dales in the special Christmas episode. Torvill and Dean are Olympic gold medalists. According to reports, the filming of the episode is over. It was shot at a private location in Leeds. The Dancing on Ice stars will reunite to help a beloved soap character with a Christmas marriage proposal. It’s still a secret whether the guest characters are specifically in romantic gestures or not. However, it’s certain that the character asking their help is “well-loved.”
Dean has expressed his excitement, “Being here is absolutely incredible. We’ve gone from watching Emmerdale on TV to actually being in a scene…It’s like going from the screen to the scene. I’m absolutely loving it.” To which Torvill added, “I can’t wait to watch the episode that we are going to be in.
