Duggar Family’s official Facebook page made the announcement about Jim’s return to politics. The TV celebrity gave his statement in a post containing the picture of him and his wife Michelle. Counting On : Jim Bob Sheds Light On His Son Josh’s Arrest
Before his announcement, Jim Bob and his wife Michelle gave a statement to Us Weekly regarding their elder son Josh Duggar’s arrest in April 2021. He had charges against him for possessing and receiving child pornography. The parents of the arrestee said in their statement that they appreciate the “continued prayers” from their well-wishers. Their son pleaded ‘not guilty’ for his charges. As a result, they talked about the truth coming to light. They claimed that the accusations made against their son are indeed very “serious.”
Oddly enough, the news of the 33-year-old’s arrest came just a day after his wife Anna Duggar revealed her pregnancy. The Counting On couple will be becoming parents for the 7th time to a baby girl. However, if the arrestee is found guilty of the charges, he would do time for 20 years in prison. It also includes a fine of $250,000 for each count respectively. The eldest Duggar son has also been provided “unlimited contact” with his six young kids only when his wife is present with them. His jury trial will take place in November 2021.
