Counting On alums, Jill and Derick Dillard have spoken a lot against the Duggar family since they left the reality show. The two have explained their difference of opinion with regards to the Duggar family. Derick has often complained that their rebellious voice has resulted in them being left out. Recently, the family held a grand Christmas celebration that didn’t have Jill. The viewers felt sad for her, but her sister, Jessa, has a different opinion. Have a look.
Counting On: Duggars Organize A Grand Christmas Celebration
Recently, the Duggars organized a grand Christmas party at their residence. Jim Bob and Michelle hosted a fantastic party that almost every Duggar attended except Jill and Derick. The fans must note that the couple lives in Arkansas only. Right after the party, Jana and Jessa shared snaps on their Instagram. Additionally, Jessa shared a lengthy video from the celebrations on her youtube. A fan asked why Jill and Derick were absent after being ‘ostracized’ from the party.
Jessa Insists That Jill Is Not Ostracized From Duggar Family
Jessa was perhaps offended by this accusatory comment because she denied it. She shared that Jill and Derick were invited. However, the couple chose to spend time with Derick’s family. This reply surprised the fans because usually, Duggars delete the comments enquiring about Jill’s absence. However, a point worth noting is that Jessa’s response contradicts Derick’s claims of being left out.
Almost all the Duggars attended the Christmas party, including the infamous Josh Duggar. Jinger wasn’t there because she lives in Los Angeles and has a newborn with her. Even Justin was absent, and it seems that he celebrated Christmas with his fiancee, Claire, in Texas. Also, this was not the first party. In fact, the family has had several gatherings leading up to Christmas.
Derick has claimed that he and Jill are not allowed in the Duggar mansion in the absence of Jim Bob. He shared once that it’s harder to spend time with Jill’s family now. He revealed that they’re cut off from Duggars after they left the TLC show, Counting On. Moreover, Jill has previously cleared that not all her siblings support her decision to break away from the family. However, she’s okay with it because everyone is going to have their own viewpoints.
