Sair Khan, who has played Alya Nazir on Coronation Street, announced the arrival of her son last month. Describing the birth experience as ‘raw and primal, ‘ she posted an adorable picture of herself cuddling her newborn, a closeup of his tiny feet, and a sweet photo of her partner Nathan Chilton holding their baby.
Recently, the soap star shared images of herself, her partner Nathan, and their baby walking in scenic gardens on Instagram. She shared that she found the early days of motherhood challenging, but she appreciated the support from her co-workers. The Coronation Street actress described the past few weeks as ‘tough but beautiful.’
Sair mentioned the difficulties of the postnatal period, including issues with latching and feeding. However, after addressing their baby’s tongue tie that morning, she expressed hope for more settled times.
