Coronation Street spoilers say that Toyah Battersby faces blackmail from the cult. Just days ago, Toyah kissed her brother-in-law, Nick Tilsley. This happened when Leanne left her family to stay with The Institute, a sketchy group run by Rowan Cunliffe.
In the most recent episode, Leanne returned home and faced questions about her relationship with Rowan. She strongly affirmed she would never cheat on Nick, which made him feel even worse about kissing Toyah. After some discussion, Coronation Street spoilers recall that Nick and Toyah agreed their kiss had been a mistake.
But things took a turn when Leanne abruptly left a busy lunch at the bistro upon seeing Rowan. Rowan took Leanne to a hotel restaurant, where The Institute’s CEO, Willow, joined them. Meanwhile, Toyah geared up for her court battle against The Institute.
According to the Coronation Street spoilers, she got a shocking call just as she arrived at the court. It was about Leanne having supposedly been hurt in a motorcycle accident. Toyah hurried to the hospital but found no trace of Leanne. It turned out to be a trick orchestrated by The Institute.
It caused Toyah a huge financial blow. The judge sided with The Institute and charged Toyah a £15,000 court fee for missing the hearing. After the hearing, Rowan proposed a deal to Toyah.
