Coronation Street star Channique Sterling-Brown has revealed that her character Dee-Dee Bailey will play her ‘lawyer’ self in the upcoming storyline. The Coronation Street spoilers for next week convey that the builder’s yard will be caught up in fire just when Ed was trying to sell it. Dee’s brother Michael will enter the builder’s yard as soon as he witnesses the flames coming up to find Ed. But he will realise that Ed’s not there.
But will Bailey investigate the truth behind the fire? Well, when the Dee-Dee actress was asked about the same, she revealed, “Yeah, I think I think Dee-Dee certainly will. She’s a lawyer, and it’s her job to think of the worst-case scenario and prepare for every event.” She added that Dee-Dee would try to protect her loved ones while finding the truth. She isn’t the compromise type. According to Coronation Street spoilers, there are a lot of challenges for Bailey family on the cards.

While Dee-Dee sympathises with Ed over his gambling addiction. Michael is comparatively less forgiving, especially after finding out that Ed sold the Christmas presents to pay his debts. Channique expressed, “Dee-Dee really struggled to believe it would be down to gambling at first when she found out that her dad had gone to such an extreme measure.”
Simply put, their different circumstances explain why they reacted in distinct ways to the same incident. The Corrie actress explained, “Dee-Dee wasn’t there when the gambling affected the family the first time, so there was a part of her that was almost out of touch to the depths of what this was going to mean.” Hence, the soap star believes that she has been home for a long time means she can see the situation from Ed’s perspective, too.
