Next week, Paul Foreman will have a crucial moment as he gets a feeding tube fitted. Coronation Street spoilers suggest that Paul’s condition has been constantly deteriorating since the day he got diagnosed with motor neuron disease (MND). However, lately, he is slowly losing control over his body.
With time, he is finding it difficult to rely so much on his carers and his husband. Previously, he anticipated that he might lose his ability to speak soon and got equipment to help replicate his voice. Coronation Street spoilers recall the time when the family got together for Summer’s farewell dinner.
While everyone was enjoying the meal, Paul was seen having a hard time swallowing. This was followed by Bernie’s husband, Denny’s arrival, who only made things worse for Paul. Plus, in the coming week, Bernie finally reveals her ‘long-lost son’ secret in a conversation with Dev Alahan.
According to Coronation Street spoilers, she tells him it would’ve been Kit’s birthday on the day of Paul’s surgery. But, just as she’s about to leave for Paul’s operation, her car gets towed away. She immediately spots a Kit near and thinks he is the one behind it. Little does she know that it’s her abandoned son.
The big reveal happens when Bernie storms into the police station to complain. Coronation Street spoilers say that she sees Kit celebrating his 31st birthday with his colleagues. Later in the day, Billy tries to reverse into a disabled parking spot outside Weatherfield General, but another car quickly takes the space.
Luckily, Kit comes to their rescue. After the operation, Billy and Paul tell Bernie about the incident. Now, Bernie feels so guilty and decides to express her gratitude to her son.
