Coronation Street Spoilers: Leanne Battersby Exits Weatherfield
Leanne Battersby exits Weatherfield, leaving her family in tears. Coronation Street spoilers say that she vanishes without a word. Turns out, Leanne has been persuaded by a cult known as The Institute and she eagerly accepted an invitation to go on a retreat.
However, Leanne’s sister, Toyah Battersby, has always been suspicious of the cult’s motives and its leader, Rowan Cunliffe. She even conducted her own investigation but found no solid evidence. Despite everything, according to the spoilers, she still encourages Leanne to rethink going on the retreat.
However, Leanne doesn’t change her mind. Just after Leanne leaves, Simon Barlow comes out of his room and feels upset after hearing the news. In typical Simon behaviour, he immediately starts drinking. Later, Tilsley is shocked to find Simon drinking at work and quickly tells him to stop, but Simon doesn’t take it well and storms out.
Also, Coronation Street spoilers confirm that Nick can’t help but notice that she has taken three different types of perfume with her. He confides in Toyah, expressing his fear that there might be something more going on between Leanne and Rowan. Meanwhile, Tim Metcalfe shows up with another bad news about Simon.
He reveals that Simon went to Snooker Hall to get half-priced drinks. However, he ran off without paying. Now, poor Nick is torn between both messes. Coronation Street spoilers disclose that he storms off to find Simon and discovers him dozing off on a bench.
After hauling Simon home, Nick makes numerous attempts to reach Leanne, but it all goes in vain. Eventually, Nick confesses that he feels more lonely than ever.
