Coronation Street Spoilers: Paul Pleads Bernie’s Case, Amy Is Arrested
In the coming week of Coronation Street, Audrey’s decision to return to work surprises David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) and Max Turner (Paddy Bever). Later, Audrey tells David and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) that she’s selling the barbers to buy back her house and will return to work at the salon. Therefore, one of them must go.
Concerned about Audrey’s health and, of course, their jobs, David and Maria try to reason with her. The very next day, David and Maria become joint salon supervisors after Audrey orders them away and locks the salon door. Audrey urges them to pack it in, or she’ll pick one of them to lead. Can David and Maria stop fighting? Does Audrey cope as well as she makes out after her murderer’s son Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) dies?
After a lovely night, Bernie breaks the news of appearing in court for stealing goods to Paul and husband, Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank). Paul, Gemma, and Billy are in shock after the judges stated that, given Bernie’s record, they have no choice but to give her to prison. A heartbroken Paul pleads to the court, sharing that he has Motor Neurone Disease and he needs his mother. But will this make any difference?
Meanwhile, Amy is surely up to something. Amy prepares banners for an anti-spiking march, but Amy’s dad, Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson), hopes she will put the same effort into her degree, too. While Amy is leaving, Mason (Luca Toolan), with his friends, makes comments. Amy is furious, and she goes to hit Mason with her banner.
A police officer arrives and asks Amy to put it aside. To everyone’s surprise, Amy argues with the officer. She sprays the officer’s car with a can of paint. Amy is under arrest for criminal damage. After the incident, Amy accepts that this was her lesson and now she will seek other alternatives. But as soon as she sees Mason bullying Dylan, she cancels her plan.
In a nightclub, Amy witnesses a man spiking a woman’s drink. She rushes over to smack it away before escorting her to the ladies. Amy shares that she was raped, and hence she wants to help other women. While the woman applauds her, she flirts with Dan. But what’s she actually doing?
Will Dylan Tell The Truth? And Who Will Become The Saver Of Rover?
In the coming week of Coronation Street, we will see Dylan feeling bad when dad Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) offers him fancy trainers and says he sold his stuff to buy them. Dylan sells vape pens to schoolchildren under Mason’s insistence. When Hope Dobbs (Isabella Flanagan) goes to buy one, Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) informs her she’s 12.
Mason begs Dylan to sell it to her, but Sean is outraged. Sean finds out and throws away the vapes. He demands Dylan tell who forced him to sell them. Dylan runs when Sean says it’s Mason and threatens to call the cops. At the same time, Mason wants Dylan to give him his new trainers after he informs him his dad got rid of the vapes. Will Dylan disclose the truth?
Meanwhile, Asha informs Nina she’s meeting paramedic mentor Isla, but Nina is upset as she wants to spend the day together. Later, Asha is horrified to spot Courtney (Stephanie Davis) and Darren Vance (Ryan Early) at the Chariot Square Hotel while having cocktails, and she accuses Courtney of cheating on Aadi. Nina reveals that Aadi and Courtney split weeks ago, infuriating Asha.
Asha arranges for them to meet Isla for lunch, but Nina is shocked when she arrives dressed to the nines. Asha and Isla discuss business while a bored Aadi listens, leaving Nina feeling left out. Later in the week, Nina sees Asha smiling at Isla’s texts, making her worry about the future of their relationship.
Additionally, Ed finds a letter addressed to the late Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden, the packet also has a new credit card. Ed secretly keeps the card and heads to a casino in town. Will temptation be too much? Are we seeing the start of Ed’s massive blunder? Corrie manager Iain MacLeod promises The Rovers will reopen soon. But it turns out Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) has informed former landlady Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) that Waterford has listed The Rovers for sale. Who do you think will be the saver of Rovers?
