Jenny and Carla fail to persuade Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) to hand over Stephen Reid’s (Todd Boyce) journal. Still, Daisy asks Jenny not to give up, suggesting a share of the money could help Jenny reclaim The Rovers. Seeing an opportunity to regain The Rovers, Daisy swipes David Platt’s keys, breaking into the house to search for the journal. A close call with Audrey sends her fleeing. 

Later, Jenny seeks financial aid from Carla to buy back the pub. With stolen keys and a cunning plan, Daisy, along with Jenny, approaches the bank for a loan. To their surprise, they secured a loan. Jenny and Daisy prepare for a sealed bid as competition for The Rovers is increasing. but thankfully and finally, The Rovers is back and safe!

Tony Punches Ed Over Money Matter

The Baileys aim for a special Christmas in Coronation Street for young Glory, though matriarch Aggie can’t join. Ed promises to lend £1k to Dad Sarge, but when Paul arrives with the owed cash to pay Tony, confusion arises. Sarge assumes the money’s for him, and Ronnie hands Ed more cash for drinks. Spotting this, furious Tony confronts Ed, demanding repayment. 

Meanwhile, a desperate Ed plans to escape to Aggie in Birmingham. As soon as he opens the door, Tony arrives. He threatens him to reveal everything and ends up punching him. Ed is severely injured. When Bailey returns home, they find Ed hurt. As Dee-Dee calls the police, Ed, possibly protecting Tony, claims he forgot to lock the door.

Carla Is Heartbroken With Peter’s Confession

In a heartfelt conversation with Tim Metcalfe, Coronation Street character Peter opens up about his struggles coping with Stephen’s death, hiding a hospital letter. At the same time, Peter worries about his relationship with Carla, feeling neglected due to her focus on the factory. Tim encourages him not to give up, but Peter’s joy falters when Carla ditches the dinner date and leaves for a factory emergency.
